Nearly every person we work with wants the same things.
To retire with dignity. To have enough money to live the life I want to live. To make a difference with my money. To never be a burden to my family. To be financially independent.
The problem is that financially planning for the future feels complex, confusing, intimidating and - if we’re honest -a bit scary.
To make matters even worse, it’s hard to find someone to help you with it all that you truly trust.
At FMF&E Wealth Management, we understand the fears, anxieties, and apprehensions around retirement planning.
That’s why our approach is centered on you.
You are more than a number on a page. And so your goals, dreams, wants, and needs drive everything we do.
We would love to get to know your story, where you want to go, and what you want to do.
And help you make those dreams a reality.
“A good personal financial plan can’t be just about numbers. It also has to be about your hopes, dreams, fears and goals. It has to focus on what matters most to you, and it needs to be in a language you understand.”

President & Wealth Advisor
Personal finance should be personal.
Hi, I’m Chris Gardner, and I have the privilege of working with a group of wonderful people that have entrusted me and my team to help them achieve their financial goals. This is a responsibility I do not take lightly. My mission in my work is not only to help people achieve financial security and independence, but to make personal finance more personal.
In 2016, Lori gave birth to our identical twin boys. Nathan and Charlie were born 15 weeks premature. As excited as I was, their grim medical condition turned my world on its head. We spent many fearful months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit facing life-or-death situations on what seemed like an hourly basis. This experience changed my life, and reinforced to me the importance of my role as a father, husband, and personal financial advisor. It changed the way I view helping people.
My sons are healthy, rambunctious toddlers now. But my perspective on serving you has been forever changed. I wrote about this experience in my book, “A Very Personal Finance Story,” which you can get for free here.
I would love to help you find the financial peace of mind you deserve, so you can live the life you love.
April, Scott, and Nick live in Bridgeport, NY and April’s parents, Cindy and John, live in Tully, NY, a place the family enjoys spending time together.

Vice President of Operatons & Wealth Advisor
Happy Clients. Accurate Data. Doing the Right Thing.
To build strong financial plans, our Wealth Advisors need accurate data. My job as a Portfolio Advisor is to make sure they have it. As a result, our clients don’t get recommendations based on hunches or “gut feelings.” They get a real plan based in reality.
“Do what’s right because it’s the right thing to do.”
My grandfather instilled that message into me growing up, and I love getting to live up to his legacy every day at FMF&E. Whether it’s triple-checking a report for accuracy or calling to touch base with our clients, I want everything I do to help our clients succeed.
That is the root of my character, and I’m thrilled to serve people I genuinely adore alongside a team that does what is right for them.
April loves working in her flower gardens, helping her husband with home improvement projects, spending time with her rescue dog, and creating memories with her family.
She cherishes the simple things in life.
Building confidence. Helping people.
I spent a large portion of my career as a cog in the wheel of capitalism, trading stocks for a large national bank. Over time, I realized that while there was value in what I did, it lacked an authentic person-to-person element. I value people. And I wanted to work with a team that genuinely helped people reach meaningful personal goals.
As a Wealth Advisor with FMF&E Wealth Management, my role is to be a guide to our clients. To ask good questions. To listen. To truly understand not just how to manage a portfolio, but to understand who you are as a person. And to build a unique plan to get you where you want to be.
As a husband and father of two, I know first-hand the importance of wise financial planning. It’s a responsibility I take very personally.
And so I consider it a privilege to shake my clients’ hands, look them in the eye and watch them grow in confidence for their financial future.
